this is my daily blog to basically, sort out my life in an orderly way. so that i can remember and exactly pin-point the great memories and the shit times.
started on june 17th 2010.
if for some strange reason you choose to follow this, you'll soon come to realise what a lousy excuse for a teenage girl i am and how generally boring my life can be at times.
i am passionate about some aspects of my life though, be it; my friends, my cameras, my shopping addictions, my family (on occasion), my laptop and my dog.
i was dragged out of bed at 8am to get ready for college, photography deadline day. i was not finished!!
gabby drove me through with her and i spent the lesson doing my files frantically. me amy and dan try to film more scenes for media but it didnt work out well, so me and amy did some more party scenes in the photography darkroom haha!
i stayed in college till 2.30pm even though i finished at 11am, to finish my folders. I FINALLY DID IT! THANK THE LORD. so i handed all four of them in and mam picked me up. i had a driving lesson at 3.30pm which was really good. after that i was in a lovely mood..
for once, i have a spare afternoon. I LOVE IT! i chilled, showered for like an hour and painted my nails all silver and lilac leopard print <3 yeyeyeyey. i also took charlie for a walk and took my film camera to take some pretty floral pictures of blossom trees, just because i had time.
slept in for media obviously, so i rolled in late as usual. edited more footage then had a cheese toastie with charlotte and got the bus home with gabby whilst taking pictures of her.
i made it home early and got ready properly before heading back to college. i went into graphics and made little doll versions of abby then splattered red ink on some paper.
i came home and stayed up until 4am again doing photography coursework! insaneeeeeee.
woke about 10am, showered sorted out todays outfit. i wore my new shorts. did college work, a little bit… whilst procrastinating profusely as usual.
i then caught the bus to work and did my shift. there was a shop lifter who was absolutely mortal drunk/high who was in our shop, she didn’t take anything but got caught in next door in ‘next’ trying to steal. the police came for her and arrested her hahaha! so funny. i drove myself home with mam and dominic in the back rapping to dizzee rascal road rage, but to my mam’s disapproval.
salmon, peri peri rice and salad for tea then college work/facebook time! i swear i live on computers.
then i’ ve done photography work/college work till 3.45am… now it’s definitely time for bed.
competely failed in trying to get up for early college this morning, and only managed to be half an hour early for a 1.15pm start! how bad is that.
so i did a little bit of media editing before some anotation in photography.
me and gabby then got in the taxi to graphics and we had the CRAZIEST FUNNIEST taxi driver ever.
he was..
singing along with his favourite singer and making us listen. wish i could remember his name
screaming “WHAT A BREAST!!” about a chav learner driver in a fiat punto who wasnt obeying roundabout rules.
explaining his sizzling sausages business idea that will rival mcdonalds one day
his grandchildren and how he will take them to amsterdam when they both hit 18 (they are 4 and 7 months old)
shouting about two indian lads with in his words “extremist beards” and putting on an indian accent.
claiming not to be racist
taking the piss out of a man with 2 hiking sticks and sunglasses on the footpath..
and generally being piss your pants funny
so, i was put in a good mood for the rest of the afternoon. i went into graphics and printed my final coursework stamps. then cut out more photographs and printed some ballet ones of abby.. then talked to bethany on the phone.
i then got the bus home and had a nice tea, piece of fish.. waffle.. and salad. then got sorted to go out to take pictures of gabby.
we walked through fields, waited for the sun to set, froze while chavs walked past us, walked up the laneee, got stuck in some trees and walked home.
i watched some tv programme about drug and people smuggling in britain then did my animation and procrastinated a lot!
working from 12-4 today. dragged - i was clockwatching so much. me and holly both were. it was overly busy for a sunday too - yack.
i shopped a little with my mam afterwards, ended up with two pairs of shorts, some new jeans and a top all from my shop. then i drove home.
once i got in the house it was curry for tea and i went upstairs to try to do some work.. but i had a littttle meltdown because all of my fucking technology constantly fails me. if it’s not my laptop or it’s hard drive.. it’s my camera, tripod, memory stick, external hard drive, printer, memory cards. i am FUCKING SICK OF IT ALL.
i went in the shower then abby rang me to ask a favour.. she picked me up in half an hour and we went down to dancing to borrow the ballet studio for a photoshoot. it went okay but the photos needed a lot of editing for the lighting and colours so i spent the rest of the night doing that.
i also had another drama fit, i can’t seem to shake this mood/mindset of negativity, everything’s fucking getting on top of me so badly..
woke up late and rushed to get ready for work, chased the bus and ran into the shop. it was insanelyyyyyy busy today. my rota was okay so it didn’t drag too bad, 1-7 is a bummer of a shift though - however, we got out early.
emily was hilarious today and put me in a good mood for a while. snorting her sniffer thing and laughing about twitches and windy breezes, she is such a dirty bugger ahahhahaha.
i came home, quickly had a salad for tea then went round to olivia and mia’s house to babysit them. i took pictures of them first though, then we watched tangled on dvd and chilled. mia felt sick so i stayed with her for a while then before long it was time for helen and ian to come home.
i came home myself and watched the end of knocked up with the family before hitting the hay…
got ready and was picked up by gabby and her mam, who drove me through to college. me gabby and amy spent the lesson in the studio. amy had me putting wacky make up on myself.. i had one blue and green eye, then one pink and orange eye - it was at this exact moment that the fire alarm went off!!! so i quickly rushed to wipe it off to get outside! i came home. then quickly rushed back out for a driving lesson.. it went okay.
after that i took a few more full length snaps of those two and came and took some pictures for my blogger. my new earring stand came too - prettyyyyy. once i was home i did a little college work and procrastinated as much as possible. then niamh came round with her granparents, who are my god parents. she’s the cutest cheekiest loveliest little girl ever. all she can say is “oh noooo” and “star” and “hiyaa” then the rest if gobbledeegook, giggles and squeals. then i watched dont tell the bride and the end of benidorm with mother and father before bed.
woke up, slept in then rished to get ready. same old same old.
i was dropped off at hetton to catch the early bus with charlotte rhys and gabby. we got to college and went for food before heading up to media. me abby and amy editing media footage all lesson, laughed at amy’s dribble and funny little wiggle on the beach. then we were approached by a group of smurfs at our class room window!
really it was just some college friends doing a charity walk for teenage cancer trust.. here’s a picture of them mid walk, they looked hilarious. after that me and amy ran for the bus to the galleries.. and found this a little too funny… after that i went into specsavers for a new eye test (yes i wear glasses/contact lenses and i am a true dork) my left eye has gotten even worse wOop wo0p.
then i caught the bus to shiney college and bought an envelope so i could have a quick walk to abby to drop off some money i owed her.
once i’d done that i headed back to shiney college to spend an hour doing work before my graphics lesson.. some random lady complimented my drawing of sophie. which put me in a better mood. then i went to my lesson and made these little cardboard model things to re-photograph.. here’s how some of my pictures turned out..
then i talked to jonny for a while before heading home.. i had some tea then went up the loft for yet another photoshoot for my exam project.. but i wont bore you with those photos too. maybe another day.
i then organised some pub crawl stuff with bethany and did a little college work at home.. whilst browsing on ebay, facebook, topshop, polyvore, twitter and blogger.
i bought a tartan scarf from ebay too, finalllllly found a nice one just as we head into the warmer weather..
second and final wednesday off work to focus on college work. so i got up and got ready then made my way to college for 11am.
i met amy and abby at the entrance and we drove to south shields beach to do more filming for our media project.
we spent the morning there recording shot after shot. the weather was pretty warm which was really good, but it was really windy!
then we went for lunch in a pub called ‘the sundial’ to decide what to do for and how to film our ending. i had salmon salad and the girls had burgers. we decided on an ending and went back out to film.. we climbed in rock pools and paddled in the sea before a final little photoshoot. here’s one of the pictures i took of amy.. i was dropped off at home then i did some more college work! now it’s time for bed! early for once!
woke up earlyish (9am) and sorted more katy perry pictures.. i caught the bus to college at half 12 after a hunt for my bus pass. late again.
i finally got to photography and sat and cut out photographs the WHOLE lesson whilst talking to dan.
me, sophie and laura got a taxi to shiney row and had a graphics lesson. i took pictures of those two to illustrate from and tried to print. i haven’t edited them yet.
work rang, but i missed the call so i was ringing them back for a while. i then went to grab some space raiders before heading to usworth with my mam for a student finance meeting.
we were late to the talk and had to sneak in to the seminar thing. the lady talked about loans and grants and students and bursaries and scholarships for a long while, my mam made notes in my notebook to look intelligent and interested ahahha.
we talked to my tutor afterwards about my university and she finally helped me make a decision. i think i am going to go to UCA Epsom to study a BA Hons Fashion Promotion and Imaging course in september, i’m not going to defer my entry.
i started to drive home and was doing okay until i forgot to check my blind spot and narrowly missed a car overtaking on the outside lane. it really shuck me and then my L plate flew off scaring me further. so i pulled over and my mam drove the rest of the way. i was a bit upset that my stupid hap hazard driving almost got seriously dangerous.. :(
i came home and had tea then picked myself up after a comfort from the parents. i came upstairs and sorted out my cd’s more. i procrastinated and ate most of the night. not good.
woek up and put katy perry pictures on the computer relaxed all morning really got ready missed my bus skipped tutorial caught a later bus with gabby we saw charlottes double on the bus media/editing footage lift to the galleries from gabby abby drove behind me and charles got the bus zumbaaaaaaaaa home time one born every minute made cd’s of live shows bed
woke up and was completely april fooled by daniel on the phone, not good!
then i went through to college. me and gabby scanned pages from the entire library all lesson - then me and my mam went through to newcastle.
i had my hair cut in toni + guy, i love it. basically cause it’s exactly the same just evened out and in good condition. she blowdryed my hair in ringlets then messed it all up so it looked like my usual messy bed head style and everything! amazing!! i bought some of the products they used too. i then wander around the shops with my mam trying to find her a mother’s day present. she’s the hardest to buy for ever! so we failed…
it’s very very very rare that i get time to do that with anyone, i never have free time. i loved it. it’s been a good day. we looked at all the beautiful mulberry bags in fenwicks and tried on topshop clothes. then headed home at tea time.
i nodded off in the car home then chilled in the house all night.
me and my brother watched music channels for ages and dad came in with more chinese food! two chinese’s on two consecutive nights. oh my god. i’m obese.
i chilled in my room and facebooked a while and now i’m hitting the hay.
